Get Glowing Skin Overnight With These 5 Easy Steps

How to get glowy skin-Pink Beaux-The Beaux Book

Contrary to popular belief, achieving glowy skin is very much possible during this year’s colder months.  While it may take a few extra steps, gaining soft and supple skin that greets the world when you wake up is not as hard as you think and we are here to simplify and expedite your road to baby smooth skin.

Pre-hydrate:  Make sure you hydrate throughout the day by consuming lots of non-caffeinated, non-carbonated, sugar-free beverages and water-rich foods like cantaloupe, watermelon, and honeydew.  Maintaining proper hydration levels requires more than just drinking water and while it takes at least 4 weeks to note significant changes in skin, even after 1 day of packing the fluids, you will see a clearer less congested finish to your face.

Exfoliate effectively:  You can not get a baby smooth skin finish if there is even the thinnest layer of parched dead skin cells sitting on atop your glow.  Mildly exfoliate your skin at least 3 times a week using Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, and incorporate AHA toners like the cult favorite Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 into your rotation at least 2 times a week.

Moisture masking:  One of the quickest ways to boost your skin’s glowiness is to apply a moisture mask like Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask for 15 minutes before bedtime and follow up with your regular moisturizer.  We are loving the Biossance Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer.

Vitamin C it through:  Ingredients like Vitamin C are packed with antioxidants and are famous for rapidly brightening skin.  The Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate is an editor favorite as it contains extra skin plumping goodies like hyaluronic acid that draw moisture molecules into the deepest layers of skin giving an almost instant glow.

Don’t skimp on oil:  Oil can seem scary for those of us who battle acne and oil overproduction.  The truth is that stripping the skin of its natural protective barrier, as most acne fighting products tend to do, can cause an even harder to treat cycle of dryness, oiliness, dullness, and yes…more acne.  Pat a few drops of pore friendly face oil like the African Botanics Neroli Infused Marula Oil onto your face after your moisturizer and you will wake up with instantly highlighted skin in the morning.
